Default Compression question

Does anyone kno how long to hold the starter for an accurate reading? Im peaking out at 120 in both and thats about 3 seconds of the motor turning over.

Mine peaks at 145 psi on both, crank until your compression guage tops out. probably about 10 seconds of crank. you should also ground your removed spark plugs when cranking engine.

I also have a question for you, one of your replys to another post. The left threaded port on the Tigershark hull, does it get plugged or stay open? The hose appears to hook to front of cylinder head.

I'm not exactally sure what it flows through, but I know it should be open.
