Default Help Changing Battery

Now, don't laugh. I'm a girl. Never saw inside of a jet ski. Battery died. I bought one, filled it with acide, charged it, then went to put it back in, and in the bottom of the ski is another clear tube, kind of like the one the instructions said to put on I think the end of the battery that had a plug in it. Do I hook up the battery to either of the clear tubes? One is a real long one and I don't know where it goes. The other is a short one that came with the battery. If the machine goes upside down, won't the batter leak through that hose? I think it is called a "breather hose".

ya ur correct its the breather hose or overflow hose, its nothing to get worried about. It doesnt matter wat hose u use, i always zip tie my hose onto other electrical lines to keep it out of the way. And if u flip the ski, the last thing ur ganna worry about is if ur battery is leaking, it may leak a little but it shouldnt pore out of the hose.
