thinking doing a complete engine swap...putting a more current engine into my tigershark 1100r. Since getting engine parts is getting harder. I see a web site that sell complete rebuilt rotax engines in the 1000cc range for 1,500.00 with endless parts available. any thoughts...has anyone done this... would have to scavege some carb and exhaust but I thinks it doeable...just need to find an engine with the same inline arrangment... any thoughts or suggestions. I have a 99 tigershark really clean...but engine is dead.

I picked up a 99 1100 r and then a 1100i I am wondering how will it go putting a Ficht engine into a non ficht jet ski and will it fit properly?????????
