Default 1997 Monte Carlo Tigershark

I was riding my watercraft this weekend and it now it wont move. The drive shaft toward the engine is spinning faster than the other end of shaft that is connected to the propeller. I mean you can see bubbles moving when the craft is started. But when gased doesnt move. A guy mentioned that its prolly a lovejoy rubber piece that broke. Said a rubber piece with two bumps on it. Are they like pins? So I have tried and researched the lovejoy on SBT and cant find it. Or could it be something else. And what should I look for when I tear it down. Any help would be appreciated.

a 97 does not have a lovejoy connector, it uses a pto with a splined drive shaft.

your going to have to take out the prop and the shaft. most likely your going to need a new shaft, if the shaft did not damage the prop.
