Default 97 tigershark oil problem

Hi all
I have a 97 tigershark montecarlo 1000
i replace the oil container and now the red oil light warning stay on.
i was wondering if i can ignore the oil injection and premix my gasoline (50:1) and run it as it is??

my guess is thet you put the sensor in upside down, try turning it over and see if that fixes it
