I have a 94 Monte Carlo 640. It cavitates. i was told it needs a wear ring. I purchased a used one but my mechanic says it does not look good. Part number is 0673-126. I have a brand new wear ring which was advertised incorrectly part number 0673-119. my question is there a way to measure the ring and what should i look for? and Is it possible to use the other part number? the difference is probably a 1/4 inch in length?

DO they look the same if so then use it. I have seen some many parts on these thing that are differnt part number but are the same I would not think if it was a little long as long as all the ride plate hole line up if the two on the back at the nozzle are off I would just redrill them. just my .02$ worth. I am the type of person if it does not fit I will make it fit if I can. Plus I build custom bike and just do stuff that people tell me you cant do all the time.
