Whats the best way to purge a gas tank? The TS I bought had water in the carbs so a complete purge is in order. Also someone else has asked and I also need to know, whats a good drive oil to put in it? Thanks

I would carefully siphon out the tank as much as possible then disconnect the fuel supply line from the bottom of the tank or the reserve/on/off switch and siphon the rest from there. Once you get everything out remove the fuel level float if equipped and make sure all moisture is out too. also check and remove any debris if you can. replace the fuel lines if needed and the filter and ensure the carb is cleaned out with carb cleaner/WD40. Also when refilling with fuel, use Sta-Bil blue fuel stabilizer with ethanol treatment.
I have a container of drive oil I do not need that I bought for my 1996 Montego but it is since long gone and my other ones don't use drive oil. Pay for shipping and it is yours.

I will take Paypal, money order, cashier's check. Paypal is quicker though. You can send $6.50 for shipping USPS to 41139 if that zip is correct. My e mail associated with the Paypal is aaron9350@live.com and send a good ship to address too. If you want to mail the money order, I will PM you my address. Here's a pic of the bottle that has not been opened to make sure it is what you need. Aaron

Default Oil Shipped

Thanks again Aaron.... You've been a great help. Some time later on though I will have to find a good substitute oil that can be easily obtained.
