Question about my 1993 Tiger Shark
I bought this beast used last year and used it once and it ran and then my brother used it once and the seal around the shaft near the back would let water in and he drove it until it filled right up inside with water.
I then took it home and cleaned most of the water up inside and when i took it to Arctic Cat to get it tuned up and water ready, they said the engine is full of water as well as the crankcase and that it would need a full tear down and that wouldn't be worth the money whatsoever.
Now after taking it home again and pulling the plugs out and taking off the top of the exaust manifold, when I try to start it, nothing appears to be ceased up or anything. I'm no mechanic by all means, but if I can find a way to get all the water out of the crankcase, shouldn't it be possible to get it going? The water doesn't look all rusted and crappy and just smells like gas and water. Or am I completely dillusional about this and should I just throw it away and save the trailor?
Thanks! Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.
