lol ya, my very own pit crew.

I already have an solas impeller and am planning on as soon as this top-end rebuild is finally complete I need to get a ride plate. People have been telling me that scoop shaped intake grates are the best. You think so? Also my yamaha and my other 650sx both need new batteries. Think I need to get the stock ones recommended for the machines or just a motorcycle one or some other small one from walmart. Batteries for those 650sx's are 100 bucks, hopefully i'll be able to save myself some money when it comes to batteries

Scoope grates really improve hook up to the water but will cut your top speed down by 2-3 MPH. I would bite the bullet and make sure you get the correct battery. You don't necessarily need to buy one from the dealer but it does need to be the right physical size and correct amount of amps.
