so i figured id post up my latest project X2 i pulled out of a barn. originally went to a friends grandfathers place to buy a pontoon boat. paid $300 for the boat with the intentions of restoring it. well it was sitting in a dried up pond so i took the trailer home with me to fix it and i notice the ski in the barn. he says hell you can have it, hasn't been used in 10 years. i start to diggin and see its an X2 and get excited. so i load it and the trailer up on my big trailer. i get the trailer home and a week later get a call that he ripped a pontoon off and it was totalled. ended up giving me the trailer and ski for free, sold the trailer for $200. so i basically was paid $200 to take the jetski lol. got it started and waiting on parts on a starter, carb rebuild kit, blue camo hydroturf mats and new seat cover. this ski isnt stock either, has a coffman exhaust, 34mm keihin carb, billet single finger throttle, aftermarket handlebars, atlantis water kit. havent gotten to look at the impeller or ride plate yet. heres a few pics.
