Default Budget rebuild.

Hi everybody. I'm new on this forum so bear with me. I'm sixteen, I just bought a 1988 Kawasaki JS550 and for lack of a better word, it is a piece of shit. I'm on a budget of $700. I want to supe it up. What are the parts that will make the biggest difference in the performance?

Well on mine I did everything possible almost. I left the bottom end stock and milled the head. Got a Jetsport 44mm intake manifold which you need a JRE intake spacer to fit the Mikuni SBN44 carburetor I got. Then I put a Jetsport aluminum racing driveshaft on and a RAD lightened flywheel. Then I did a Westcoast pipe and a Westcoast water box and it sounds really mean! Then i put a 13/16 Solas stainless steel prop which is for low end, it depends on if you want the ski for low end power or high end power. I also put on an Ocean Pro bored tapered nozzle. Then I put a Westcoast intake grate that I welded a bar in to make like a top loader, also put on an Ocean Pro quadrafin ride plate that I cut flush with the back of the ski and cut a D cut in it. That's probably expensive for your budget so I'd recommend doing everything but the carburetor because I'm having troubles jetting mine. Hope this helps! I've bought most my stuff on eBay and people on Craigslist! I like talking about my ski if you couldn't tell!
