Exclamation Engine won't start, fuel leaking from muffler help!

Hey guys I picked up a 88 650sx goin back a while ago and when I brought it, it looked like crap but ran good. After completely redoing the exterior my motor won't start. I've got new sparks, which get spark, and i just brought a new battery for it. The thing is that fuel is coming out of the muffler when i try to start it. I have no idea help! thanks!

check for pluggage in the gas return line - if its OK, most likely carbarator issue - if spark plugs wet carbarator needs cleaning
