Default 650 sx basic questions

I just bought a 1991 650 sx and don't know much about it and had a few questions. Should I buy a block off kit for the oil injection for more reliability? Does the engine have oil in the crankcase? I also wanted to start it and run it for a while before I hit the water is there anywhere to hook a water hose in the engine? If not, how long can I run the jet ski out of the water without damaging it? Thanks, any tips or things to look for would be appreciated. Any servicing tips before hitting the water would be great.

If you don't wan't your engine to be blew up because of a oil pump
that got stuck then I would buy a block of kit and pre mix,
no oil in crankcase
you can hook up a garden hose on your cilinderhead,
you can let the engine run out of the water but not for longer then
20 seconds!
Before you hit the water make sure it runs fine on a garden hose
and make sure your battery is fully charged!
Good luck!!
