yamaha wj 500 no power in water? plz help
hi i have recently got a wj500, it starts on land and sounds powerful, when in water no power barely 2 mph, can u help please

Maybe something wrong with the pump. Will it rev up? Does it bog? How about a compression check?

i had simmular symptoms with a 650. i replaced the head gasket and put a new carb on it and it runs great.
