Default js 440 hooking in turns

i have a 1989 js 440 that i would like to make it hook up a little better in the turns and would like to get a little more top end out of it. by the way its bone stock

I believe they now make aftermarket sponsons for those ski's. That would help it hook up better. A little better top end, maybe look at changing out you impeller with a different pitch.

Look in a jet ski magazine for the best deals for the sponsons because I am not sure who makes them? With the pitch of the impeller, I honestly cannot remember because it has been many years since I looked at doing that. I believe the more angled the pitch is, the better hook up you get but the straighter or less angled it is, you get better top end. I could be wrong on that though so don't quote me.
