Default New here 650 fuel help

Hi guys my name is Chase and i just bought a 440 but it has a 650 in it. It seems to not get fuel It would start and run then the next thing it wont start at all. I can get it to run off carb cleaner but after it burns up its dead. Feathering the gas does nothing as if there is no fuel getting in. It was getting fuel earlier today. Maybe the pump went? Aren't they a diaphragm style? here is a pic of my ski

Lets get all the dumb questions out of the way first. Then troubleshoot the problem after that.

Dumb questions simply because you stated that you just bought it, so I am assuming that you are new to PWC'S.

Is there enough fuel in the tank? Have you tried the reserve setting on the fuel petcock? At about 1/8th of a tank the main fuel pickup isn't long enough to reach the fuel.

If your not getting fuel it is probably the fuel pump and clogged fuel lines.
