Yes it just slides out the back. It's a bit of a pain to do though. Cut as much of the silicone caulking away as possible before trying to gently pry the pump housing away from the hull.
Hold the driveshaft to keep it engaged with the engine while sliding the pump back or you could damage the seals at the through hull assembly.
