Default 89 Yamaha WR650 carb rebuild

Looking to have my carb rebuilt in the southeast MI area.
The machine ran awesome with no issues for the 3 years I've had it. Until last season. At the begining of last summer I fired it up with no issues, 3 weeks later I go to use it and it fired once then all it would do was flood. Plugs would be dripping wet. It is getting plenty of spark, would fire on ether. I drained fuel, checked all lines for cracks or blockage, and pulled the carb apart and cleaned it. It then started right up and ran all weekend. 3 weeks later the same thing happened. Would just like to have someone that knows more than me, completely go thru the carb.
The local Yamaha dealer wants $138 plus parts to go thru it. That price seems very high, if not then maybe I'll just take it there.
