Default 88 550 does rip like it should (i think) revised oct 8

So today when i went out for my season ending ride at first i flooded it and had to change my plugs. So after I put in the new plugs it ran the strongest i'd ever had it run but after about 45 minutes of riding it went back to normal were it ran good but no where near as strong as the first 45 minutes. So where do i start to get it back to always run that strong? Fuel is mixed 40 to one even though the manual recomends 50 to one and the oil is nowhere near the best I could buy. It does smoke alot more compared to a two stroke bike or sled. The plug still come out a nice tan color. See my earlier post for more details on my problem.

I replied to your earlier post about this issue your having. I don't think it's the oil (although i do think you should use a good synth or synth blend). i think your low speed setting is abit lean. try turning it 1/4 turn out and running it. if it works good, if it improves slightly try turning it out a little more until your problem is gone.
