Default JS550 Crankcase ???

84 JS550
Recently had a front crankshaft bearing failure. There is also damage to the front piston and cylinder as a result. When the bearing let go it looks and feels like it left some scoring in the crankcase. I am wondering if I should attempt to re-use the case and rebuild this engine or try and find another case to use with my engine (what years would work?) or perhaps I should just plan to order a rebuilt engine? Thanks for any opinions...
