Default 550sx not starting, help!
I have a 1990 550sx. brand new battery, but will not hold a charge. when battery is charged, it runs great, but will not charge up.. can anyone help? sound like a stator or ignition box? thanks for any help.

It could be your charge coil.It's behind the flywheel mounted to the stator plate.

sounds like charge coil or voltage reg
