I was running my 1300r in my yard with the garden hose.As it was ideling I shined a flashlight in the jetpump.I thought I would see the impeller turning but it was not.I know this model has direct drive.Is something wrong.It is a 2007 with 130 hours on it.Should I be concerned or is it normal under no load.

With the engine running the impeller should be turning.

The weakest link in the drive system is the splined driveshaft which commonly strips out. That would be a good place to start looking
