Default 1300r fogging ?

It is near the end of the season here.It will be my first time fogging this engine. It is a 2007 fuel injected. The owners manual says to take the plugs out and spray it in thru the plug holes. The maint manual I have covers all years and does not say how to fog this year. Will spraying in the plug holes be enough?

On some of the carberated models there is a place that you can do the fogging through the carbs., but not on the fuel injected models, so the only access is through the plug holes.

Before you do the fogging, I'd run some Stabil marine (or Startron is another good choice) through the fuel system on the hose. A fuel injector cleaner like Yamaha Ring Free Plus or Seafoam is also a good thing to add to that last tank of fuel and run some through the engine. After you take it off the hose run it dry to clear the excess water out of the exhaust system...........you may have to do this several times for 15 sec., with enough time in between to allow the engine to cool to get the water out. Then fog the cylinders, bumping the engine over to distribute the oil. Some guys recommend leaving an ounce or 2 of oil in the cylinder.........in hopes that some might reach the bottom end.
