1998 Yamaha xl 1200 question
can someone tell me what this "hose" is for, I know it plugs into the back of the instrument cluster but where does it go from there and what is its purpose?

Its not part of the OEM instrument cluster. I suspect that someone has added something. Probably need to ask the previous owner.

Thanks for the response, actually went to yamaha dealer and found the hose to be a "moisture vent hose" for the cluster

They must have started putting them on later than my service manual, because it doesn't show it.
