Hi I have a 1999 Yamaha SUV 1200 that will not take fuel in the fuel tank very slow to fuel. Air bubbles back out filler hose.I have checked the service manual and don't realy understand how the tank vents while fueling. I found 2 check valves 1 for the fuel tank and 1 for the oil tank both seam to be working properly as stated in the manual but they don't seam to be designed to vent the tank but to prevent the tanks from vaccumn locking. Any help please Thanks !!
My 2002 Yamaha FX140 has this same issue, Not sure there is anything you can do but to fuel it slowly. If someone knows something let me know too! my 2009 FX HO does not have this issue, but the fuel tank access is under the top storage lid, so it vents better.
