Default Need help on the fuel pump connector

First post. I apologize for it being a "ask for help" right off the bat, but this is frustrating. I'm tearing down a 2005 FX Cruiser to rebuild it. That or I'm going to part it out.
Anyway, I'm ready to pull the engine other than I have one electrical connector to disconnect. There are two of them on top of the fuel tank. I need to remove the white one and I can't really tell if the tab should be pushed or pulled when disconnecting.

Any help would be appreciated. A picture would be better. I'm trying to be careful before yanking on it too hard.

Thanks ahead of time.

Go Texans

Looks like you would just push the "T" shaped tab opposite the wires in (toward the wires) to release the lock while pulling up. I'll take a closer look at my ski tomorrow.

Thank you...
I found a picture of a fuel pump, but it doesn't have the detail. I can tell that there are two sockets (where the plug goes) left on the pump.

I tried depressing the "T", but I still can't remove the plug. Just don't want to force it yet.

Thanks again. If you get it off. it would be great to have a picture of the connectors.....

Hi Torque...
I took out this many times.. its exactly as Ernest said.. you should push the T towards the wires... but its not easy... you can use a little bit more force to do that... and then you should press all the connector downwards and pull it back up and it should get out... There is a silicon seal inside the connector that works like a spring pushing the plastic connector upward.. so if you only push the T, the low end of the T will bend a little because it is being pressed against the plastic and is kind of stick together... use the technique of pressing down and pulling back up while pushing strongly the T on the connector and you will be able to remove it, just do a rapid movement of pressing down and pull up while pushing the T.. let me know if you were able.

Thank you. Worked like a charm. The key to all this is that the connector fits over the male part which is secured to the fuel pump.
