Default Engine Fogging 101 on FX140

Just want to do this right...Ordered some engine fogging spray. I assume that I shoot the spray down into the locations on the picture below for 3 or 4 seconds each while the engine is running?

Actually, Yamaha recommends you spray it into each intake for 3-5 seconds first with the engine off, then start the engine and run it for 10-15 seconds. I think you could spray it in with the engine running, but the first cylinder you do may run out all the fogging oil by the time you get the last one done. I think that is why they recommend spraying it into each cylinder first, then starting the engine.

And you do have the right location. Just spray through the mesh in the flame arrestors.
