Default First time flushing FX140

Just picked up this used FX140

I will be flushing the engine soon. Is there an adapter that I can pick up at a local hardware store to connect the garden hose to the inlet on the flush valve? or do I need to buy the OEM part from Yamaha? (below)

Thanks. Greg

Yea you need the plastic part that makes the connection. It plugs in and rotates to hold the connection in place. I doubt you will find anything at the hardware store that will work.
