Hey guys looking for someone that has really done this or knows for sure. I ave a 99 1200 xl ltd and my reverse cable casing split so i dont have reverse anymore I can get the cable online for about 60 bucks but the shop wants close to 300 to do it says its about a 4 hr job. I was looking at it best I could and it doenst look like its anything too major. Is this something a decently mechanical person with normal tools can do in a few hrs or is this going to be more work then its worth and should I just let the shop do it?
