Jackass buddy crashed my 99 XL1200 so I've been looking for a hull because everything is good, actually just rebuilt the engine. So all I have been able to find locally is a 2000 XL 800. So, question is can I put my engine in there, and what would I have to change?

Eight days ago the engine in my 97 Waveventure 1100 destroyed its self.
I have a great hull and jet drive. Everything except the engine case halves and number two piston and connecting rod is good.
I do not know if your engine wound fit, but I am willing to measure the location of the motor mounts if you are interested.
If anyone else wants the other engine parts, let me know.
Willing to sell cheap.
