Default 2012 VX Deluxe Winterizing Questions

This is my first winter but looks like pretty much all I need to do is add some fuel stabilizer into the fuel tank, yank the battery and hook it to a tender and spray the spark plug holes with fogging oil, right? It also looks like I should spray fogging oil straight into the air intake which I am kind of confused about. What's the purpose of that and where exactly is the air intake? It looks like it is near the front of the engine towards the bow. What's the easiest way to spray fogging oil into the intake? Is there anything else I need to do?

Also, is this really what shops charge between $100-400 to do? I could start my own shop doing winterizing if that's the case, it's SO EASY. I asked my dealer when I bought it and they said it's between $150-250 depending on if I want "premium" winterization. I don't even know what that meant unless they were replacing the spark plugs as well, but 4 plugs is like $50 so I have no idea.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:

I also read somewhere that I should change the oil before storing it as well...Is this 100% required? Will there be long term damage if I don't do it this one season (they were brand new anyway). If I do decide to do it do I need to change the filter too? I used a K&N and put maybe 12-15 hours on it after the initial 10 hour oil change. If I do it since I already fogged the spark plug holes do I need to re-fog them after running it? Just want to get my ducks in a row. Thanks.

The prices are about right, yes the near $400 is crazy $150-$200 with plugs and oil change not bad (I think my dealer said $250--$85 hour labor $24-$40 spark plugs $50-$65 oil and filter), I would like to think that actual wave runner shops check other things as well like hoses and wear ring and such but I don't know. If you have a motorcycle shop that sells wave runners like I do I doubt it. There should be no harm in not changing your oil with that low of hours (my opinion only). If you start the ski, yes you will have to refog cylinders. As to fogging intake take off hose I'm pointing at or the large hose on intake its self and spray fogging oil (3-5 seconds) while ski is running. How important it is I don't really know, I have read were some just do cylinders, I do both. At beginning of next season after first start up might want/need to change plugs cause of fogging oil fouling them or at least clean them up.
Also when you done 10 hour service did you grease intermediate housing/bearing? Hopefully some of the other forum vets will add anything I have missed, still learning everyday my self.

Spray into the rubber hose and the other one or what? I figured into both since it seems to be running the air intake to two locations. I did not grease that. I think I read at 50 hours or something you should do that. Do you have a picture or something of where you are supposed to grease and what type? Thank you.

No, just the big hose if you take off little one that I'm pointing at, Straight into throttle body if you remove large one.

Housing should be greased at 10 hour because it comes dry from factory follow link and scroll all the way down for procedure. Use a marine grade water resistant grease, nipple is below grey electrical box, kinda hard to get to. Pics are the best I could do.

On the third picture is the nipple next to the bolt? I can't really tell. I'm ok not doing a greasing until next season before we start riding right?

Also I didn't change the plugs at 10 hours. It's starting to look black though so I might run them once on the lake and then replace them so it gives the fogging oil a chance to burn off with the old plugs installed then replace them.

Cool. I still don't see how the shops can get away with charging so much. It's really not that much work. But the majority of people who buy toys like this have never used a screwdriver I guess haha.
