gp1200rwavruner

Hey,
I am trying to find information on my friends 2004-2005 gpr 1200 to help him get it running properley. I cannot seem to find any information of this model on the internet. I only looked at it for a second the other day and it looked to be fuel injectected. Does anybody know what readings i should get from a compression test.

Initially it would not crank, i thought it may have been seized. But he since then realized that the fuel gauge had been playing up, filled it with fuel and managed to get it running (still do not understand why it would not crank when i had looked at it, battery was good, but it would go to crank then stop), but will not run very fast and suspects that the engine is not getting adequete fuel.

When i get it, i will first do a compression check, if thats ok i will then go onto look at the fuel system. However i cannot find any information on the model that he has given me.

Anyones input would be great.
