OK guys this is my first post but i have been doing research on this subject all day and still can find an answer. I have a 2000 xl 800 with about 150 hours or less on it. When i fist got it i was able to hit about 52 mph now i am barely able to get to 38 mph. I don't think my speedometer is off because i race my father boat 2006 sx230 high output yamaha and his top speed if faster than mine. I believe that i need to replace the impeller but no sure. If i need to replace it then what company do i need to go with and also what else should i do? The other problem is that everytime that I bring it out from being winterized i have to replace the start solenid. WHat is causing this to happen?
