How or what can I check to make my '98 GP1200W quieter?



I'm just wondering why my exhaust is louder than other jet skis on the lake. Could there have been a baffle/muffler in the pipe or something that was removed by previous "owner"........ Just wondering as I'd like to quiet it down and I am not sure what to check to see why it seems louder than others.

Any ideas? It appears to have the factory exhaust system.
