Default 1997 wtv 760

Hi:
I am new to your forum and am looking for a little advice.

I have owned a 1997 Yamaha WTV 760 since 2000 and never had any problem with it. I took it out to the lake recently for the first time since last summer and did get it to crank. However, it had very little power and would not go any faster than 20 mph. It felt like it was running on 1 cylinder only. I am puzzled since it ran fine the last time it was used. I felt of the engine and discovered that the rear cylinder was warmer than the front which sort of confirms that it was only running on one cylinder. I did check the plug and it was firing fine. I suspect the problem is with the carb since it has set up several months. The carbs will be difficult to remove and I am looking for some direction before I go on an exploration adventure. Anybody had a similiar experience? Any idea what might be the culprit? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks!
