Default VX110 ran great for 160 miles straight, then shut off

I took my VX110 for a 240 miles trip on lake michigan but I only made it 160 miles. The lake was very smooth and I was running at top speed for about 55miles. I slowed down to enter the harbor, and after idling for 5 mintues the VX shutoff, and wouldn't start back up.

Swapped in a new battery and changed the spark plugs. The engine will turn over but I am not getting a spark. Any thoughts?

Its running great for 160 miles with no problems then won't start, so I'd look for something simple like a loose/broken wire, blown fuse, something else loose someplace.

Checked the fuses, they all looked good. Turns out I do have spark, I just couldn't see it in direct sunlight on Saturday. I will continue to look for something loose, but nothing seems obvious so far.

Anybody know where I can buy the diagnostic software online. The place I found has it on backorder and is not taking orders.

If you have spark, I'd check to see if you have fuel flow. You can pull the line and hit the start button. You should have a good steady flow.

Only place that claims to have the YDS software and cable right now are these guys: YAMAHA YDS DIAGNOSTICS, but they are charging a premium for it (over $100 more than what dealers in the US were asking).
