So should we sell? How much does a 2011 VX sport go for unused? Should we use it for our upcoming trip to the beach and then sell it? How much would that affect the resell price? Since summer is almost over I'm assuming its going to be harder to sell. How much difference in price would we get next year?
I think that's all the questions we have at the moment. The biggest is how much we can get for the ski being unused vs using it for maybe 10 hrs and then selling.
Thanks for any input

You are absolutely right about it being slooow. 50 mph tops, it is a beginner/entry level ski. If you like jet skiing I would take that puppy to my local Yammie dealer and pony up to the VXR with no cost in your ski you could get one for 2-3 k outta pocket and have water rocket with a much better resale than the VX sport, guys are dying to get the VXR but don't want pay retail, they are waiting for used ones to come up. Which will make them hold their value better. The ski runs out at 68 mph vs 50 mph. It has the non-supercharged 1800 4 cylinder. Now instead of a ski nobody cares about (VX SPORT) you will have the fastest normally asperated ski on the planet.
I think retail on the VXsport is about $7900. The VXR is about $11,000.00. Yes using it ten hours will drop the value about $500-$750.
If it was me Ida been down to the Yammie dealer to get my new VXR. You will get alot of your investment back when selling it more so than the VX sport.
