Default Where to start

Hey everyone, first time to the forum and owner of a new-to-me 93 VXR Pro. I picked this up cheap, knowing it didn't run, but figured I could have it on the water in no time. I have plenty of motorcycle experience, but none when it comes to PWC's. Anyway, the motor will not turn over at all, even with a jump start when you press the starter button, nothing, not even a click or hum. I checked out all of the switches in the left handlebar, and everything is good, I have the kill switch lanyard clipped in, etc. So i started looking around and taking things apart. I removed the electrical box looking for the starter relay, but could not get it open. That's when I saw the driveshaft and decided to try to turn it by hand with the spark plugs removed. I'm assuming this will turn the motor over, but it wouldn't budge. Does this mean my motor is seized, or something else? Anyway, sorry for the long post, but I'm looking for a little help here on where to start.

Thanks.

Sounds seized. Remove the head. Try to keep tapping the piston till its at BDC. Then use some sandpaper on the cylinder wall. Keep lubing the wall and turning the piston over and it should free up.

If it won't turn over by hand with the plugs removed, either the engine is seized, or the pump is seized (impeller locked to wear ring).

If its been sitting it could be both of the above. If its the engine then usually not worth trying to fix IMO, cause you can find decent running skis for what it will cost you to rebuild everything.
