Default 2008 VX Deluxe injector help

Hey guys,
I have a 2008 VX Deluxe with 55 hours on it, (and 3 of those hours came from this summer) and out of the hole it will some times get all the way up to 8000 rpm and other times it wont. Not to mention it will randomly jump up to 8000 rpm and then drop right back down to 7000 and sometimes even 6500 rpm. From doing some looking through past threads it sounds like it is the injectors? I am really trying to learn on how to fix my ski without having to take it in, so any pointers anyone has to offer that would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

Yamha rarely has injector issues. I would suggest you replace your spark plugs(ngk cr9eb) and test your fuel for water contamination. I service these often. When change plugs, check the air filter and use a flashlight to check your impeller for damage. Most good shops will do a TuneUp and inspection for around 200 plus parts. If you have mechanical knowledge. You can save some bucks.

+1 change the plugs as a 1st step................that cures about 90% of running problems on the MR-1 engines.
