Default VX Oil Level Variation After Warm Up?

Yesterday I checked my oil level on the lake immediately after riding 30 minutes, and then about another 20 minutes later for good measure...Both times oil level a little more than halfway between full and add.....Ran it today on the hose for about 15 minutes and checked oil level again....Now oil only at the add line? I'm pretty sure the ski was sitting level on the driveway and I ran it a little longer because air temp around 65 degrees....Has anyone else had this happen? Should I just go by the lake readings and call it good? Just trying to get the oil level set right before I winterize in a few weeks...

Thanks in advance!

Mark

The readings you got on the lake are the good ones. You have to get the engine really hot to get an accurate reading..........often times not possible on the hose.
