PLEASE HELP!!!!! Do I need to replace the exhaust valve holder?

Hello everyone, I just bought a 2008 Kawasaki STX 15f. I noticed there was cracking on my exhaust valve holder (part number 13280-3718). I was wondering if I HAVE to get this part replaced or not. I am replacing it either way but wanted to know if I would be ok riding in the water a few times until the part comes in. I was not sure if water could go through the cracks into the exhaust since it is just a cover but I am unsure. I have attached a picture for reference. Thank you in advance!

The actual exhaust pipe is riveted to the hull. Should be ok to ride. I would put some clear silicone on it.
Since it broken across a bolt, I would look for something that is not allowing it to sit all the way down somewhere, and tightening that bolt put stress on it.
