Sea Doo won't start-2000 Bombardier

Hi All-

Have a 2000 Sea Doo Bombardier that has issues.

A little background-----Replace drive shaft and the extras, carbon ring, bellows, etc......carbon ring was shot and water was leaking into hull.....decided to replace all while we were at it. Rode for a day or so and machine started taking on water and we noticed that machine had trouble turning left. Found that the steering cable was cracked (probably from when we put in drive shaft....trailer was not secured and tipped backwards allowing SeaDoo to hit the ground without the steering nozzle or housing on yet) Drained water out, put in new steering cable and it won't fire up. Gets the proper beeps when laynard goes on, then you hear a clunk and two beeps. It kinda sounds like it wants to start for a split second.

Could something have gotten wet?

We checked the fuses, all okay.....
Spark plugs look a little dirty, they were new recently
Opened the electrical box, selenoid? didn't look wet....all fuses good

After reading on net, we checked the drive shaft.....is it suppose to turn freely? We have the spark plugs out and it seems it stops at a certain point. We are clueless what to do next.....help!

Thanks in advance, you guys are awesome!

Dock
Engine or pump might be locked up.

If it's the pump it needs to be rebuilt, or if it's the engine, it needs to be rebuilt.

The engine should turn freely with the plugs out. If it stops there is something stopping it. Remove the pump, see if the motor will spin freely.
