Hi, this is the first time ive used a forum so im slowly learning :)

I have a 2003 Waverunner GP1200R..About 3 weeks ago I flipped it in the ocean, after that it was running a little rough but i didnt think too much of it.

The weekend after that i took it for a ride in the ocean again and it was only running at approx. half power...eg i had the throttle at about half stick and id usually be doing 50-60kph by then, but i was going less than 30.

i got a little further and i couldnt throttle any faster than 3kph(just above idle) before it stalled. then i could only idle before stalling. then she died on me completely and i had to get towed back to the boat ramp...

Does anyone know from experience what my problem may be??
i have been searching forums and havent had much luck...

i have replaced the fuel filter, and the fuel pump is pumping..

The starter motor cranks but thats it.

there is no water in the crankcase and all plugs are sparking...

all i can think of next is to syphen out the fuel and oil and start fresh...

any help would be greatly appreciated!!! :)

I'd try new fuel first. Be sure you don't have anything stuck in the pump (sea weed, etc.). If it still won't run, a compression test would be the next step.
