We went to fire up the GP800R for the year, everything went fine except the oil warning light and buzzer are flashing. It fired right up, no problems except the oil warning.

The oil level is fine, the tank is almost full. Per the manual, we also pulled the oil filter/sender unit, everything seemed fine there also. The filter was clean and the floats in the sender were moving freely. Oil is definitely in the fuel mix judging by the smoke coming out. Also, the throttle cable to the oil pump is working fine.

The GP was winterized, and has been under cover since October. this is in central North Carolina, and the winters are not too bad here.

Any suggestions are definitely appreciated.
