My dad bought a 1989 waverunner 500 for my kids, which means i get to work on it. There is supposedly a water flush screw on the top rear of the engine. I see a very small screw up there that may be it. Anyway, I put a homemade flush kit tying a T in to the water line on the right under the seat like is on my old 650. I think it works, but frankly am afraid to run it too long.
How do I know it is working ok?? Water comes out the back, but not sure if it is going thru the engine or not??
