I am currently rebuilding an engine for 1991 WR500, and I am having trouble finding the correct bearing for where the crankshaft connects with the piston pin. I have tried to find it online, but all of the Yamaha parts dealers seem to not sell that specific part. I am currently trying to get my old crankshaft apart, however I highly doubt the part will be able to be salvaged. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Are you wanting a wrist pin bearing or a lower rod bearing ? To actually split a crank apart you need a 10 ton press at a min, and the correct tooling, plus you need the correct tooling to reassemble it so the webbing's are properly aligned and the run out end to end is within tolerance.
Doing some research, the wrist pin bearing assy. is not available (at least as a oem part). You have to buy the individual bearings which are labeled as dowel pins.

Don't know if this one is a true Wiseco part, you would have to contact them. You will also need to verify how many bearings are needed.
