Just git a 750ss xi in pretty good shape. Looking for some link for some upgrade like a ride plate and such. Also what are you guys using in the front hole to hook on to your trailer winch?

The XI dual carbs can be easily modified to increase acceleration, and the
stock SS impeller was not great.

Doesn't need more compression, but tightening the squish will increase
power and acceleration, and will increase reliability.

Replace the trailer bearings if the previous owner has not done it
recently.

What would the carb mod be? Also where can i even find a new ish impeller. Trailer bearings? 🤷🏻‍♂️ and what do you mean squish?
Basically you drill the carbs mid-range port (hole) to 1mm(.039") with
a #61 drill bit. More info here:
Jetting Guru's! Dual 3 jet Keihin CDK2 40's help!

There are other jetting techniques to increase the power too.

Tightening the squish machines (removes some material) the top of the
cylinder to decrease the clearance between the piston and cylinder head.
You can raise the compression about 10psi, increase acceleration and
prevent detonation. Generally .040" (1mm) squish is good, but there is
room for a little more ~.035" or so.

I mentioned trailer bearings because in late spring/early summer it is
common to see pwc's on a trailer abandoned on the side of the road
because they had rusted wheel bearings that came apart on the way
to a lake or river.

If necessary rebuild carbs with Japanese, not Chinese rebuild kits.
