Been trying to get a 1995 seadoo to run. Aparently the person riding it said they heard a grinding sound and the motor shut off. Heard it could of sheared a pin? When you try to start it now ,you only here a "click" even if you try to turn the drive shaft , you can hear the cylinders grinding but wil not turn , no matter how hard you move it. any help?

UPDATE :

Took the head off the motor. The pistons had a small amount of white mold , guessing from a little bit of water.. bad gas from the marina probably. Now that the head is off. You can try to turn the drive shaft. Both pistons will literally move 1/16 of a inch either direction , and then lock. Acts like somthing is stopping them.

Should i check the jet or anything like that?

Any step in the right direction will be good.

The starter is engaging and disengaging. Have the cover off so i could check it.

Its a 1995 seadoo GTX 2 cylinder..white motor purple exhaust.

Thanks in advance for the help

since the head is off, pull the cylinder and see if the rings are still in place, and that there is no big scratches or gouges on the pistons or cylinder walls. After that is off get a flashlight and look at the bottom end, see if turns freely
