went to do a compression check and when we pulled the plugs and cranked it over a massive amount of light brown, what looks like all oil blows out the front cylinder.. couldn't get a good reading on the front cylinder but the back one reads 148... the ski will not fire up either. anybody have any tips on what to look for?

Was it fogged for the winter? If so it is normal for the inside of the engine to be flooded with oil. It is also common for a fogged motor to be hard to start for the first time. But with out a solid compression number on both cylinders be leery.

i only paid 800 for the ski and the trailer it is in excellent shape except for this problem, which the previous owner warned me about.. it looks like the engine has been apart.. told me there is some kind of seal that needs to be replaced..
