I have added another battery to my pwc which helped with starting out of the water. I can get it to start once in the water and it runs great. When I kill the engine it will not restart. I can then pull it out of the water and start it again. Any suggestions?

your problem is in the fuel system. have a technition o/h carbs and flush out your tank. that should fix your problem. any problem with the ignition system would cause your machine to go into limp-mode.

so when in the water it has no spark?
is it turning over weak in the water?
out of the water starts right up? probably becuase there is no load on the engine
try starting in the water bypassing start stop switch, if it starts you will have to reconnect stop switch to shut it off though.
